They’re so pretty to me. George and Pattie were just pretty together. Eric may have been a bit more talented, but he’s only hot now that’s he’s old. Weird..

Another Day, Another Dollar-Less

I can rememeber the anticipation of a coming event and the feeling of being so overwhelmed when I was little. I could hardly sleep at night weeks in advance. Events like going to summer camp, or having a birthday, or waking up on Christmas morning… simple things, yet they seemed so magnificent at the time. It’s like I still feel the excitement as I get older, but the fact I’m able to change certain outcomes as an adult takes the fun away. When we get older, the joy is depleted because of the responsibilty that comes with age. Maybe that’s why some people can never grow up and become fully dependent on themselves.

I notice negative changes others don’t quite pay that much attention to. I’m coming up on my 24th birthday and I absoloutely HATE it. I can remember playing dress up and looking forward to the day I could drink legally, and not have anyone to answer to… only to find out, it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be. I still feel like a little kid trapped in an adult body, without the capability to turn back time, nor the drive to progress. It’s a little frustrating to say the least. Getting old scares the shit out of me!!

Homage to Lilith

Why are your days always much easier than mine? I just can’t seem to understand.

You enjoy so many things, you laugh and you dream- while.. my messy life was just dealt a losing hand.

Do you ever feel the sadness, do you feel the pain and the hurt? I feel it right now as the curtain closes.

I only see you when you’re smiling, never fighting, never dying…though I’m trapped inside that very juxtapose.

Sing me a picture, make it pretty, make it count. I want to see a life lived through your eyes!

But please don’t mention boys, because they’re viscious and they destroy. I want the picture-song to last a real long while.

I’ve done it…I’ve gone BROWN!! Actually…funny story…
I thought I was going to save myself a bunch of $ by doing the box color thing. How hard can it be, right? WRONG! I had orange roots and blue streaks. Yes, I did take photos.. and no, I will not post them. Why? Because I’m mean!
I also make this face whilst wearing a Snuggie.

Today Has Been hard

I’ve discovered a few things about myself here in the past week:

1.) I am not as strong as I thought I was

2.) It’s ok to cry infront of people

3.) Hiding emotion makes you numb to it

4.) Holding things in will make you bitter towards others

5.) Life is fragile

6.) Don’t take people for granted

7.) There is no perfect relationship (whether it be romantic, friend centered, or family oriented)

8.) Overlook faults and focus on good qualities

9.) Say “I love you” more…and mean it

10.) Always take one of those parking deck cards to remember where you parked
